In that vyage went Sr William Elmham, Sr William Faryndon, Sr Thomas Trevet, and othere; and on seynt Urbanes day the pope, there were sclayn besyde Dunkirke xj m and v hundred Flemynges. Also in this yere fill the debate in London betwen John Northampton, William Essex, John Moore and Richard Norbury on that one partye, and the fysshmongers on the othere partye.

This year Henry Spencer, Bishop of Norwich, sailed into Flanders with a crusade to war upon the Flemings. In that voyage went Sir William Elmham, Sir William Faryndon, Sir Thomas Trevet, and others. And on Saint Urban the pope's day, there were slain beside Dunkirke eleven thousand and five hundred Flemings. Also in this year fell the debate in London between John Northampton, William Essex, John Moore and Richard Norbury on that one party, and the fishmongers on the other party.
